Edit Menu

Edit menu provides you a wide range of option which is used to make editing of you current images and shapes. Some of them are like undo or redo, cut, copy and paste, these the basic and usually used.

The edit menu also provides you some more option to change the visibility of layout and document setting by using presets and preferences. We are going to give a basic edit menu introduction.

Undo

This option allows you undo the done work like go one step back, it is usually find any software and program so it is not new in it industries.

Step Forward

This option allows you to go one step ahead of your done job, it has no limit till then your last activity on canvas.

Step Backward

This option allows you to go one step back of your done job, it has no limit till then your first activity on canvas.

Fade

This option allows you to work on the last applied filter, it will highlight after apply any filter and provide some more option to control the filter effects.

The Cut, Copy and Paste are the usually same functionality, it can be found every software and programs so we will not waste out time to discuss about them.

Copy Merged

This option is very rarely used in the Photoshop; it will make copy of all the visible part of layers inside the selected area.

Clear

This option allows you to remove the selected area of the active layer only rather than other layers but take it in mind, it will work raster shapes and figure only.

Check Spelling and Find and Replace text: These are used in the text format paragraph, it is used to make correction of spelling and replace the more than one word at a time. Their works are same as another software and program.

Fill

This option allows you to apply different type of color, background, foreground and patterns and more inside the selection area with appropriate opacity.

Stroke

This option is used to apply stroke on the selected area, it has more option to adjust the stroke visibility and get batter result.

Content-Aware Scale

This option is allows you to modify the size of the images and shapes by doing upscale or downscale. It will change the layout of your document, you can also control the scaling by given specific ratio.

Puppet Warp

This option works as a distort effect and allows you to easily bend any part of image and shape in any angle by using visual mesh.

Transform Tool

This option allows you to transform the selected figure and images in different direction like scale, rotate, distort, skew, flip etc. As you click this option and right click on the selection, the more option will appear in pop up.

Auto align Layers

This option allows you to align at one point of your scattered images and graphics, first you have to select the image layers which you have to align then it will work perfectly.

Auto Blend Layers

This option allow us to blend the more than one picture into one in the Photoshop, you can say it just like merge and stitch picture with smoothness.

Define Brush Presets

This function allows you to create your own brush, there are lots of different type of brush in Photoshop for use. You can also make an unique one brush as you like and required by the help of the this option.

Define Pattern

This function allows you to create your own pattern, there are lots of different type of pattern in the Photoshop. You can also make an unique one pattern as you like and required by the help of this option.

Auto align Layers

This function allows you to create your own shape, there are lots of different type of shape in the Photoshop. You can also make an unique one shape as you like and required by the help of this option.

PURGE

This function allow you to improve the efficiency of Photoshop by removing unnecessary or corrupt documents, it has some more hidden sub option to help in different mode of cleanup work.

Adobe PDF Preset

This function allows you to adjust the different and unique adjustment of PDF format document, it has different type of mode of setting that makes it best visibility of print.

Presets

This function gives you permission to edit and modify the current option as carry with the Photoshop software. There are three different type of way to edit, add and modify the option.

Color Settings

This option give you permission to adjust your desired color settings for the artwork, Photoshop have a itself color setting you can use as natural and choose different also.

Assign Profile & Convert to Profile

This option allows you to apply different profile on the document and simultaneously give you the preview of the results.

Keyboard Shortcuts & Menus
