Water Ripple Background

In this tutorial I will teach you how to create a water ripple Background effect in photoshop, It can be used in the animation movie and graphic design project. It will use some filter effect to make and you learn more about the filter.

Take a new document with appropriate size, take a new layer and fill "#5c8ea7" color by using paint bucket tool (G key).

Apply some noise effect on, go Filter menu > Noise > Add Noise. Adjust amount and Distribution option.

Now convert noise effect to motion blur, go Filter menu > Blur > Motion blur, adjust the angle and distance.

It would be same.

Apply last and final filter to give a wrap effect, go Filter menu < Artistic < Plastic Wrap and put the same values as given below picture.
